Canterbury City Council created the Lord Mayor’s Award to publicly acknowledge people who quietly work ‘behind the scenes’ to help others and who are often overlooked as they do not seek publicity or thanks for their efforts.
The awards are given to people living in the district in recognition of their selfless acts for the benefit of individuals or the community. If you would like to nominate someone pick up a leaflet or submit your nomination via the website
form by 14 July 2017.
For more information, please call the Lord Mayor’s Office on 01227 862 080, log on to our website at www.canterbury.gov.uk/lordmayorsaward or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
