Thanet Parkway Railway Station Consultation Poster
We are pleased to inform you of the first public consultation (2nd February – 27th March 2015) for the Thanet Parkway Railway Station.
Kent County Council is promoting the building of a new parkway railway station on the existing railway line, directly to the east of the village of Cliffsend, Thanet. Our proposal is still at an early stage of its development. Your feedback is essential to help us shape the design of the parkway station and ensure it best suits the needs of your local community and businesses. Whether you support the proposal or have concerns about it, we want to hear your comments and views.
To take part and share your views, please complete the consultation questionnaire online at kent.gov.uk/thanetparkway.
You will also be able to learn more about the project and discuss your opinions with our Officers at one of the seven consultation events held across East Kent. The last of these events will take place at Herne Community Centre on Wednesday 4th March 2015 between 12:00 and 20:00.
For further details of the consultation events and for key information about the proposal, please visit the scheme website at kent.gov.uk/thanetparkway. Once the consultation is closed and responses collated and analysed, a report on the public consultation will be available at the scheme website.
We hope that you are able to take part in this consultation and come to a consultation event. We look forward to receiving your response.
