A299 Thanet Way (West bound off slip), Herne and Broomfield

Kent County Council gives notice that the west bound off slip of the A299 Thanet Way, Herne and Broomfield will have a temporary mandatory 40mph speed restriction in place, on or after 3 February 2020 for up to 21 days.

 The speed restriction will be imposed on the west bound off slip from the junction with A299 Thanet Way up to the existing 40mph permanent speed restriction signs.  

 The 40mph speed restriction is necessary for the safety of motorists due to the uneven road surface. This temporary notice will be superseded by a temporary traffic restriction order when this notice expires.

 This Notice applies when the relevant signs are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days.
