TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)
Kent County Council gives notice that Heart in Hand Road, Broomfield Road, Herne Bay will be closed to through traffic, on or after 5th August 2020 for up to 3 days.
The road will be closed at the on-slip onto the London Bound A299 Thanet Way.
The alternative route is via Heart in Hand Road, Margate Road and Thanet Way.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:30 hrs and 5:30 hrs each day.
This closure is necessary to enable upgrades to damaged safety barriers to be carried out by Kent County Council.
This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
