Book – Herne and Broomfield Remembered

This book compiled by Mike Bundock is A4 with glossy card covers with 32 pages overall.  The inner pages are printed on glossy art paper.  The book contains 84 images of the area and most of these are from photographic postcards.  The majority of the pictures are pre WWII with a couple from the 19th century as well as a couple of recent shots included for completeness.  Each picture is accompanied by an explanatory text.  Overall, this book presents a delightful addition to the limited amount of published material available on the area as well as serving as a reminder of days gone by.
